This is a written agreement between the photography company/photographer hereafter called “The Photography Service” and the customer known as “The Customer” for the purpose of wedding photography and this contract will be used only for that purpose.
The couple hereby paid a retainer in the amount of $500+tax and this retainer serves the purpose of reserving their wedding date of Date*
This is an agreement between Johnson Consulting Services (The Photography Service) and First Name* Last Name* & First Name* Last Name* (the customers) in which both parties are aware that The Photography Service has been hired to photograph the wedding of First Name* Last Name* (The Bride) and First Name* Last Name* (The Groom) on the date listed above.

“The Customer” and “The Photography Service” understand that the retainer for the wedding will go towards the final balance due (see PayPal invoice for specific details) which will be paid 8 weeks before the wedding date.
If the balance due is not received in full by the balance date due date then “The Photographer” reserves the right to cancel this agreement and keep the retainer and any other payments applied to “The Balance” as compensation for those weddings that could not confirmed or booked due to “The Photography Services” obligation to “The Customer.”
“The Customer” understands that in the event that the wedding date stated above in this agreement is cancelled or changed then “The Photography Services” once again reserves the right to cancel and any other retainer or payments towards “The Balance” made will be non-refundable.
The retainer has or will be paid at the time this contract is signed.

By signing this agreement I’m allowing Johnson Consulting Services a.k.a Angela Johnson Photography/Glam Studios by Angela Johnson and associate photographers, assistant(s) and second shooters (if applicable depending on package chosen) to be served a guest plate as common courtesy for providing photography services on your wedding day. Breaks will also be provided and taken as needed. During dinner, the photographers will not photograph guests eating as most feel uncomfortable. Instead, they will take a quick break and eat as well unless requested with at least 24 hours in advance by "The Customer" so that other meal and break arrangements can be made instead.

Family Shots:
It is understood that if you don’t provide a detailed list of wanted family shots that are to be taken in the time frame pre-planned by Angela Johnson Photography then we are not responsible for any that are missed.

Missed family shots will not be taken or delivered after the time frame. Camera flash will not be used on any formal photos as it does NOT show the quality that is needed. Flash will strictly only be used for candid shots during reception if needed.

The Team:
The photography and/or videography services will be provided by the photographers assigned to photograph or do videography at your event and each staff member of Angela Johnson Photography Team/Glam Studios Team will have a particular assignment ahead of time to ensure the best coverage of all parts of the event, allowing for adequate breaks and recharging of camera batteries, etc. Note that not all Angela Johnson Photography Staff members will shoot at the same time and that they might arrive or leave the venue at different times (if applicable). There will always be a lead photographer and a second shooter at all times to ensure quality of service. The rotation of staff will ensure complete coverage as requested by “The Customer” during the planning meeting. All employees are trained to shoot and deliver the same quality and style of photographs. (if applicable, depending on the chosen package)

CANCELLATION
The retainer is absolutely non-refundable upon cancellation.
In the event that the client cancels the contract for any reason, ALL monies paid will be retained by Angela Johnson Photography in order to offset loss of business.
Cancellation must be in writing, by email ([email protected]).

RESCHEDULING:
In the case of change of your wedding date, you may transfer your retainer fee to a new wedding date if available one time within six months of the original date before forfeiting the retainer. There is a $300 fee for that. The client agrees to not expect a new date to automatically be available. The client will be given the chance to reschedule but cannot be given priority over other reserved clients. The pricing will be adjusted to the CURRENT pricing (the pricing to reflect the new booking as services change and need to be adjusted from time to time.)
Bad weather: re-scheduling of the date due to bad weather may also occur at the photographer's discretion only.

In case the wedding or event needs to be rescheduled, the photographer reserves the right to keep the retainer and any other amount paid until the date of the notice of such date change and depending on availability may or may not agree to reschedule and provide such agreed services. The photographer reserves the right to keep the entire amount of money collected up until that point and should received the payment in full if the change happens within 8 weeks of the initial date of when the event was originally scheduled to take place as the photographer will be at a loss. The photographer can choose to reschedule may the schedule permit at his/her discretion.

GALLERY VIEWING APPOINTMENT & IMAGE SELECTION:

All galleries are delivered in studio, in person.

Client understands that there will NOT be any unedited/raw images given. Edited images will be delivered in a private session in studio. This viewing session includes a slideshow, prints of different sizes, albums and other photo products.

The viewing appointment session will be scheduled for a day and time that works for both photographer and client. Late arrivals, no shows or rescheduled appointments with less than 24 hour notices will pay a reschedule fee of $100 as the photographer and studio space are available exclusively to that person/client. (Photographer cannot work nor be with the family and studio space cannot be rented by other creatives and photographers).
Please arrive on time to honor everyone's time.
Arriving too early at the studio might interrupt someone else's appointment and arriving late might make someone's appointment run late as sanitation of the space occurs between sessions and appointments.

By signing this agreement both parties agree to and understand the terms of this agreement.

The Photography Company reserves the right to send another photography service in case of any emergency circumstances, act of God or any other events that impede the photography company to provide the services listed in this contract.

Images will be edited and ready to be viewed in a 8-10 week time frame. Images are usually ready way earlier than that in most cases.
Bride and groom will receive a sneak peek gallery with about 20 best images a few days after the wedding as a courtesy so they can share this wonderful milestone with their friends and family!

Albums and other printed materials (if applicable) will be delivered about 6-8 weeks after they are delivered digitally (thumbs drive and or digital gallery) to allow for creation, production and printing, and delivery.

The final gallery will be delivered in studio and the client will have the option to upgrade the package and purchase additional images and prints at that time.

COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING NOTICE:
The images being provided to you are licensed to you for any reasonable personal purposes. Your license does not include use that results in financial gain, including but not limited to: advertising, or resale of any nature.
The client of these images is granted the right to print images for personal use only.
A limited PRINT RELEASE is supplied with the purchase each image for personal use. The print release does not allow publication of your portraits (i.e. entering in contests, magazines, etc.), selling or altering your images without the photographer's written permission. The client may also display online the images given to them with photo credit given to Angela Johnson Photography, or share images the photographer has shared online.
*I acknowledge and understand that the images taken by Angela Johnson Photography are protected by Federal Copyright Laws. I understand it is illegal to alter these photographs without the photographer's permission. *
I understand and agree to honor the copyright laws as stated in this agreement.

MODEL RELEASE (for 18 and over)
By agreeing below, the client hereby gives Angela Johnson Photography the client's permission to use the images in any media for any purpose (except defamatory) which may include advertising, marketing and packaging for any product or service, promotion including portfolio, website, display, and editorial use. The client understands that they have no rights to the images, and all rights to the images belong to Angela Johnson Photography. The client acknowledges and agrees that they have no further right to additional consideration or accounting, and that they will make no further claim to any reason to Angela Johnson Photography. Client acknowledges and agrees that this release is binding upon their signature. Client agrees that this release is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual.
